Life From Afar... Or is it?

Standing at the precipice, you can see a lot of things. A lot of struggle from everyone all around. Everyone is struggling with their own problems. Sometimes, it makes you wonder if your struggles are important or not. Of course they are important, but maybe they mean more to you.
Not everyone can relate to your own problems. Sometimes even you can not seem to relate to your own problems. Stuck there looking at the problem without a clue of what to do or say.
I guess it does not really matter though.
You are born.
You live.
You die.
Why does it matter what you do while you are alive?
Because you are a person that God has chosen to be here. To LIVE is a privilege. A great gift from above.
It is amazing how much happens to the world due to your actions... You could do nothing OR you could do ANYTHING!
The choice is yours! Always has and always will be yours to make!
What are you going to do with your time Alive? What are you doing now?

The Rose

I was reading a friend's blog and decided to comment. My comment decided to continue longer than expected... Here is my comment...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

All Roses have Thorns.
Marriage with a Soldier has many Thorns that nobody expects.
There is the Hurt that comes with him leaving early in the morning and coming home sometimes late in the evening.
Then there is the first field training exercise, and you are ALONE in the home.
Next is the Hurt of deployment... Which comes with many Worries... bullets, bombs and death.
Then there is the mid-tour leave that is Bittersweet, but the fact is that the Hurt and Worry return as soon as the day arrives for departure.
The return is Sweet... until you realize that the Hurt was in hiding, and the Soldier you fell in Love with has become a Veteran with unexplained problems.
By then the Thorns are so long and sharp that the Rose is hidden.
From your view... All you can see is that things will never get better. You have to decide to keep reaching no matter how many times you have to pull back to keep your blood and tears from spilling... The Pain will be there... The Sorrow will too... The Guilt of not trying harder will force you to throw yourself against the Thorns... No matter the outcome.
Because YOU KNOW that underneath it all is the Beautiful and Sweet Rose of your Marriage, Love and The One You HAVE To Be With Until The End.
All Roses have Thorns.

To Begin, We Must Start At The End . . .

. . . Today, is the last day.

Sometimes, life becomes simple... even when things seem so complicated.

We all believe that life will go on. No matter what is going on, we believe that life will continue and last well beyond our deaths.

Reality is that it could be the end at any point. It could end before I finish this sentence...

... ... ... ...

... Has it ended?? ... ... . . .

Well, I suppose now is not the time. Perhaps it will never be the end... My point is we should not focus only on the end. Focusing on the result before it happens will not make it happen any faster or slower. However, focusing on the journey to your end could be more meaningful than the result.

'Focus Not On The Destination, But The Journey.'

So, make life simple and enjoy it.

Because all that matters is "that little dash there in between". . .

"There's two dates in time
That they'll carve on your stone
And everyone knows what they mean
What's more important
Is the time that is known
In that little dash there in between
In that little dash there in between"
